OLGA CONSEGRE - FASONISTA's DESIGNER - BIO:

Olga was born in Burkina Faso, West Africa.

As a child, she loved fashion and everything that went along with it.
Olga had her mind set on becoming a fashion designer. Growing up in Burkina Faso, West Africa, she found early inspirations through her mother whose creativity and keen sense of style passed on to her.

Olga incorporates the fantastic and the understated in cool, sensational colors with elegance and emotion and adds a youthful african spiciness to a more classical western influenced style.

 

A graduate of the New School of Design and a former Model, Olga decided to pursue her creative side and launched her line Fasonista, after designing for George Simonton​.

Olga heightens her couture aesthetic by infusing emotions such as joy, adding a discernible African feeling and festive mood to her creations. She describes her signature style as follows: "It's a modern approach to glamour". It's also about achieving a very sophisticated, yet simplistic look. A woman who wears Fasonista knows how to wear a basic, simple dress and yet still make it look classy."
